Warner Pacific (WP) is a unique college in Portland, OR, whose vision includes having rigorous academic standards, expressing Christian values, fostering innovation, developing leadership, offering student-centered services and maintaining fiscal strength. In addition, the mission includes preparing students for the technological challenges of the 21st century. Having robust and responsive information technology and associated services is at the core of meeting those challenges.
WP had been without a permanent IT leader for a few months and was looking for assistance with certain tactical and strategic IT issues. Virtual Information Executives (VIE) provided WP a seasoned IT professional who helped the college during the transition and who assisted in finding the best person to serve as the permanent director.
VIE also performed an IT snapshot of the University’s IT organization and how well it was delivering to the business of running the University. In our recommendation, VIE provided much insignt into improving IT services on campus.
