The largest agency in the State of Oregon, Department of Human Services, partnered with VIE to perform an assessment that included review of its strategic plan, organizational structure, IT governance processes, and policies and procedures.
VIE identified strengths, weaknesses and opportunities, and recommended changes to better align IT with the business needs toward the ultimate goal of providing the highest level of service to the DHS Divisions. VIE completed this project on time and on budget and was hired again to help further design and help with the initial phases of implementation.
Subsequently, VIE was hired to advise the CIO and the CIO’s direct reports on IT re-organization, IT governance and IT service delivery improvements.
